She is a wanderer, a dreamer, an enigma wrapped in starlight. Wandering Stars is the fragrance of a bold escape, where innocence meets intrigue, and the world reveals itself in layers of heady floral notes and primal magnetic warmth.
Wandering Stars pairs the sweet floral nature of Gardenias in bloom with the earthen intensity of Indonesian Oud. At its core is the rare, luminous Lebanese Gardenia, extracted by a traditional enfleurage technique that has largely disappeared from modern perfumery. This gardenia is fruity and floral, with facets of stone fruit and bright goji berry; a whisper of jasmine’s delicacy and tuberose’s narcotic allure.
Created by perfumer Michael Nordstrand of Mythologist Studio™(link) and Neshama perfumer Simon Shaer, Wandering Stars pairs the soft insistence of Gardenias in bloom with the earthen intensity of wild Indonesian Oud. Distilled from two Gyrinops species grown on separate islands, its leathery green and tobacco facets ground the fragrance with a primal, magnetic warmth and provide a perfect contrast to the heady floral notes.
