In 2019 for Atelier des Fleurs, perfumer Quentin Bisch created a unique fragrance inspired by the idea of a bouquet of woods. From a melding of cedar, vetiver and sandalwood, Cedrus came to be. Cedar let itself be discovered anew, appearing in all its complexity by exuding its tender, ambery facets. Cedrus quickly became the most iconic scent in the range.

In 2025 Chloé reinvents this emblematic fragrance by offering it a new dimension. Cedrus Intense enters the scene, paying a powerful tribute to the unique olfactory signature of Cedrus. This creation stems from a bond of affinity with a second perfumer, as Quentin Bisch and Louise Turner have joined forces exclusively to recompose the original accord and bestow cedar with all its intensity.

The fragrance’s three core woods have evolved, with Cedrus Intense marrying together Chinese cedar, Indian sand vetiver and Australian sandalwood. Each of these varieties unveils unexpected facets, instilling the composition with their force of character. Exceptionally high concentrations of noble materials, assertive notes that merge and collide with one another… Cedrus Intense is a fragrance with multiple surprising dimensions, all in line with free, instinctive, confident femininity.
