LE SEL D’ISSEY EAU DE PARFUM presents an olfactory dialogue between the elements: the sea and the earth. It is in the vibration between these two polarities that LE SEL D’ISSEY reveals itself. It is an assertive duality, like a challenge, that Quentin Bisch was not afraid to take up.

And with good reason: the Givaudan perfumer is very sensitive to the variations of nature and loves the seasons and their contrasts. On one side, the sea, where the whole story of LE SEL D’ISSEY begins. As with the Eau de Toilette, this is expressed through an extract of laminaria seaweed and oak moss. This unusual moss is in fact the memory of a seaweed that migrated to dry land several thousand years ago. It offers an olfactory wave of incisive vigour, which unfurls on contact with an unprecedented salty accord.

And on the other, the earth. The salt accord becomes enveloped in elegance and sensuality, as notes of incense, dry amber and burning woods intensify. This contrast gives the salt all its vibrancy, impetus and strength.
