Rabanne – La Collection – BURNING LEATHER

Inspired by Calandre (the first fragrance created by Monsieur Rabanne in 1969), Burning Leather reimagines the fragrance experience with a contemporary twist that comes to life through an intensely primal leathery gourmand amber signature designed for a new generation of fragrance lovers. [PARA] An ode to the most sensual adventure in the leather seats of a vintage car, Burning Leather draws on the primal nature of raw leather while inviting addictive, smoky facets to create an impossibly desirable leathery gourmand ambery trail. [PARA] At the top, bergamot essence brings freshness and luminosity through a citrusy note while coriander seed lifts the fragrance with a hint of spice. At the heart, ultra-delicious maple syrup is enhanced by Iris butter; a voluptuous, velvety ingredient that at once amplifies the voluptuousness of the maple syrup. Unfolding moment by moment, the dry-down brings a leather accord, featuring labdanum resinoid – a warm, ambery note with rich, smoky facets. And finally, benzoin resinoid is sweet but not sugary, lending an exceptional quality that sits between vanilla and caramel and comes with powdery, milky undertones.

Potion Paris – Noir de Marrakesh

Noir de Marrakesh is an intoxicating oriental-spicy fragrance that captures the mystery and grandeur of midnight in the ancient souks. It opens with a crackle of black pepper, nutmeg, and coriander, leading into a sensual heart of leather, tobacco, clove, and saffron. Layers of benzoin, hashish, and a smoky whisper of tar lend a daring, animalic edge. [PARA] The base reveals a rich blend of suede, musk, amber, and sacred myrrh, creating a scent that lingers with unforgettable power. Crafted by our in-house perfumer, Noir de Marrakesh is inspired by the city’s after-dark allure—its flickering lanterns, spice-laden air, and silken shadows. This is a fragrance that evokes whispered intrigue, hidden bazaars, and a world where desire meets tradition. [PARA] It is housed in the signature Potion Paris Crystal Vial—a sculptural 50ml bottle carved from real crystal, resting on a gold pedestal. Fully refillable, the vial reflects our commitment to sustainable luxury and elevates each fragrance into a ritual. Created by our in-house perfumer, Noir de Marrakesh reflects Potion Paris’ ethos – perfume as intimacy, ritual, and emotion. It is not just worn, but lived.

BeauFort London – Sirenide

The islands of Orkney, located to the North of Scotland, play host to the inspiration of this fragrance. According to ancient Orkney myth, shapeshifting creatures – Selkies – inhabit the bodies of seals and, coming out of the water, shed their skin to walk among the human population. Often in these stories the selkie’s skin is found and hidden by local men, and they are forced to marry their human captor. [PARA] In our rendering of this tale, however, the selkie takes the upper hand… horrified that he has tanned her precious skin, the selkie poisons her captor, reclaiming the leather and returning finally to the tumbling sea. [PARA] Sirenide therefore, is a suitably formidable fragrance: powerful and haunting, with triplicate aspects of ‘skins’ developing on your own. PVC melds with pinseal and an unnerving bitter almond note… water flowers blossom and die, returning to the water. [PARA] Top: Blue flag iris, Water Hawthorn, bitter almond & aniseed. [PARA] Heart: Water lily & Pink Lotus [PARA] Base: Ambergris, Cedar Atlas, Woodruff & Pinseal

Fragrance collection – crafted in celebration of Liberty London’s 150-year anniversary, with packaging designed by 2025 Royal Academy Schools graduate, Esther Gamsu. [PARA] Tendrils of smoke linger evocatively throughout this intoxicating and unorthodox floral scent. Imagine a wood panelled room, infused with a century and a half of subtle laughter and rich tobacco smoke, dressed up for the evening with abundant Indian tuberose flowers, creating an irresistible tension. [PARA] Whispers of nights spent in animated discussion resonate as heady tuberose, jasmine and ylang ylang settle in the comfort of vanilla, earthy spice and tobacco, for an unforgettable evening.

Maison Margiela – Replica Afternoon Delight Eau de Toilette

Maison Margiela Replica Afternoon Delight Eau de Toilette [PARA] Maison Margiela’s Replica Afternoon Delight is a masterful olfactory translation of Marcel Proust’s “involuntary memory,” reimagining the legendary “madeleine moment” for the modern connoisseur. Crafted by Master Perfumer Carlos Benaïm, this ambery-gourmand composition transcends traditional sweet scents by offering a sophisticated, airy interpretation of Parisian café culture. [PARA] At its heart lies a bespoke Madeleine Accord—a technical feat that captures the golden, buttery texture of the French pastry without the weight of conventional gourmands. This nostalgic core is seamlessly enveloped by the creamy warmth of Sandalwood and the noble depth of Madagascan Vanilla Pod, creating a “second-skin” sensuality that feels both intimate and expansive. [PARA] Afternoon Delight stands out by balancing artistic storytelling with exceptional wearability. It does not merely mimic a dessert; it captures the atmosphere of joyful escapism and the quiet luxury of “me time.” By transforming a literary icon into a multisensory experience, Maison Margiela proves that niche perfumery can be deeply evocative, technically brilliant, and universally loved. It is the definitive choice for the consumer.

Yves Saint Laurent – Muse – Les Vestiaire des Parfum

To capture the essence of his muses, Yves Saint Laurent turned to ink. Thousands of sketches flowed from his hand, each fluid stroke revealing the inspiring silhouettes of his ideal. In those bold, black lines, he translated inspiration into tangible form, immortalizing the essence of his muses and all the creativity he drew from them. [PARA] Ink is the enigmatic accord chosen for Le Vestiaire des Parfums’s new fragrance: MUSE. A strikingly streamlined composition crafted by Principal Perfumer Marie Salamagne : “The ink reveals enigmatic woody notes, intimate and elegant smoky facets. It veils the skin in subtle dark, metallic tones, slightly iris-y, earthy. For me, the ink takes on the colours of creativity and mystery. It stimulates the imagination.” [PARA] The dusky note is etched onto a precious ingredient Marie Salamagne compares both to paper and skin, for its softness. Carnal and supple, iris concrete offers powdery, buttery, woody and leather facets for a perfect blend. Empowered by a sensual Bourbon vanilla absolute pod – another sublime material crafted for YSL – the result is what Marie calls “a skin scent that explodes”. A fragrant tattoo with an impressive trail, as distinctive and memorable as YSL’s fascinating muses.

I bake to show my love – and wear this scent as a quiet rebellion. For the women who’ve played it safe for too long, this is your perfume to be seen, to be bold, and to truly express your authentic self.” – Barb Stegemann, Founder of The 7 Virtues

Aesop – Above Us, Steorra

A new chapter unfolds in Aesop’s aromatic story as the brand’s latest Eau de Parfum—a glowing constellation of Amber, emblazoned with a radical streak of Cardamom—takes the form of a fragrant, thought-provoking fable. Harnessing Aesop’s unique olfactory signature—noted for its depth and complexity—Above Us, Steorra illuminates an enduringly nonconformist approach to fragrance creation, and a yet uncharted realm for amber fragrances. [PARA] The story began with an abstract set of inspirations that Aesop shared with long-term fragrance collaborator Céline Barel: a poem by Mayuzumi Madoka titled ‘Shooting Star’, a photograph of the night sky, and imagery detailing the various hues of amber. This characteristically unconventional starting point led to discussions about the sense of awe and possibility one feels when looking up at a star-strewn sky—an experience that often leads thoughts to follow unexplored trajectories. [PARA] Beyond the artificial lights, noise and routines that often define modern, metropolitan living, a moment when one might ask: shall we trust in the unknown?
